Ex. 30:11   The Lord said to Moses,  12 u“When you take the census of the people of Israel, then each shall give va ransom for his life to the Lord when you number them, that there be no plague among them when you number them.  13 Each one who is numbered in the census shall give this: half a shekel* according to the wshekel of the sanctuary (the xshekel is twenty gerahs),* yhalf a shekel as an offering to the Lord.  14 Everyone who is numbered in the census, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the Lord’s offering.  15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than ythe half shekel, when you give the Lord’s offering to make atonement for your lives.  16 You shall take the atonement money from the people of Israel and shall zgive it for the service of the tent of meeting, that it may bring the people of Israel to aremembrance before the Lord, so as to make atonement for your lives.”

Ex. 30:17   The Lord said to Moses,  18 “You shall also make a bbasin of bronze, with its stand of bronze, for washing. bYou shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it,  19 with which Aaron and his sons cshall wash their hands and their feet.  20 When they go into the tent of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn a food offering* to the Lord, they shall wash with water, so that they may not die.  21 They shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they may not die. It shall dbe a statute forever to them, even to him and to his offspring throughout their generations.”

Ex. 30:22   The Lord said to Moses,  23 “Take the efinest spices: of liquid myrrh 500 shekels, and of sweet-smelling cinnamon half as much, that is, 250, and 250 of faromatic cane,  24 and 500 of cassia, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and a ghin* of olive oil.  25 And you shall make of these a sacred anointing oil blended as by the hperfumer; it shall be a iholy anointing oil.  26 jWith it you shall anoint the tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony,  27 and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense,  28 and the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils and the kbasin and its stand.  29 You shall consecrate them, that they may be most holy. lWhatever touches them will become holy.  30 mYou shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests.  31 And you shall say to the people of Israel, ‘This shall be my holy anointing oil throughout your generations.  32 It shall not be poured on the body of an ordinary person, and you shall make no other like it in composition. nIt is holy, and it shall be holy to you.  33 oWhoever compounds any like it or whoever puts any of it on an outsider shall be cut off from his people.’”

Ex. 30:34   The Lord said to Moses, p“Take sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum, sweet spices with pure frankincense (of each shall there be an equal part),  35 and make an qincense blended as by the rperfumer, sseasoned with salt, pure and holy.  36 You shall beat some of it very small, and put part of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting twhere I shall meet with you. uIt shall be most holy for you.  37 And the incense that you shall make vaccording to its composition, you shall not make for yourselves. It shall be for you holy to the Lord.  38 wWhoever makes any like it to use as perfume shall be cut off from his people.”

Ex. 31:1   The Lord said to Moses,  2 “See, I have called by name xBezalel the son of Uri, son of yHur, of the tribe of Judah,  3 and I have zfilled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship,  4 to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze,  5 in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft.  6 And behold, I have appointed with him aOholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. And I have given to all able men bability, that they may make all that I have commanded you:  7 cthe tent of meeting, and dthe ark of the testimony, and ethe mercy seat that is on it, and all the furnishings of the tent,  8 fthe table and its utensils, and gthe pure lampstand with all its utensils, and hthe altar of incense,  9 and ithe altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and jthe basin and its stand,  10 and kthe finely worked garments,* the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, for their service as priests,  11 and lthe anointing oil and the fragrant mincense for the Holy Place. According to all that I have commanded you, they shall do.”

Ex. 31:12   And the Lord said to Moses,  13 “You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you.  14 You shall keep the Sabbath, because it is holy for you. Everyone who profanes it shall be put to death. nWhoever does any work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.  15 oSix days shall work be done, but pthe seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. nWhoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death.  16 Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever.  17 qIt is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that rin six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and son the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”

Ex. 31:18   And he gave to Moses, when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the ttwo tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written with uthe finger of God.

Matt. 26:47   bWhile he was still speaking, cJudas came, one of the twelve, and with him a great crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and the elders of the people.  48 Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “The one I will kiss is the man; seize him.”  49 And he came up to Jesus at once and said, “Greetings, dRabbi!” And he kissed him.  50 Jesus said to him, e“Friend, fdo what you came to do.”* Then they came up and laid hands on Jesus and seized him.  51 And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his gsword and struck the servant* of the high priest and cut off his ear.  52 Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For hall who take the sword will perish by the sword. 53 iDo you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me jmore than twelve klegions of angels? 54 lBut how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?” 55 At that hour Jesus said to the crowds, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me? Day after day mI sat in the temple nteaching, and you did not seize me. 56 But lall this has taken place that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” oThen all the disciples left him and fled.

Matt. 26:57   pThen qthose who had seized Jesus led him to rCaiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders had gathered.  58 And sPeter was following him at a distance, as far as rthe courtyard of the high priest, and going inside he sat with tthe guards to see the end.  59 Now the chief priests and the whole council* uwere seeking false testimony against Jesus that they might put him to death,  60 but they found none, vthough many false witnesses came forward. At last wtwo came forward 61 and said, “This man said, x‘I am able to ydestroy the temple of God, and to rebuild it in three days.’”  62 And the high priest stood up and said, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”* 63 zBut Jesus remained silent. aAnd the high priest said to him, b“I adjure you by cthe living God, dtell us if you are ethe Christ, fthe Son of God.”  64 Jesus said to him, g“You have said so. But I tell you, from now on hyou will see the Son of Man iseated at the right hand of Power and hcoming on the clouds of heaven.” 65 Then the high priest jtore his robes and said, k“He has uttered blasphemy. What further witnesses do we need? You have now heard his blasphemy.  66 What is your judgment?” They answered, l“He deserves death.”  67 Then mthey spit in his face nand ostruck him. And some slapped him,  68 saying, “Prophesy to us, you pChrist! Who is it that struck you?”

Psa. 32:1    jBlessed is the one whose ktransgression is forgiven,

whose sin is covered.

2 Blessed is the man against whom the Lord lcounts no iniquity,

and in whose spirit mthere is no deceit.

Psa. 32:3    For when I kept silent, my nbones wasted away

through my ogroaning all day long.

4 For day and night your phand was heavy upon me;

my strength was dried up* as by the heat of summer. Selah

Psa. 32:5    I qacknowledged my sin to you,

and I did not cover my iniquity;

I said, “I rwill confess my transgressions to the Lord,”

and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah

Psa. 32:6    Therefore let everyone who is sgodly

offer prayer to you at a time when you tmay be found;

surely in the rush of ugreat waters,

they shall not reach him.

7 You are a vhiding place for me;

you preserve me from wtrouble;

you surround me with xshouts of deliverance. Selah

Psa. 32:8    I will yinstruct you and teach you in the way you should go;

I will zcounsel you with my eye upon you.

9 aBe not like a horse or a mule, without understanding,

which must be curbed with bbit and bridle,

or it will not stay near you.

Psa. 32:10    cMany are the sorrows of the wicked,

but steadfast love surrounds the one who dtrusts in the Lord.

11 eBe glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous,

and fshout for joy, all you gupright in heart!

Prov. 8:27 When he bestablished the heavens, I was there;

when he drew ca circle on the face of the deep,

28 when he dmade firm the skies above,

when he established* the fountains of the deep,

29 when he eassigned to the sea its flimit,

so that the waters might not transgress his command,

when he marked out gthe foundations of the earth,

30 then hI was beside him, like a master workman,

and I was daily his* idelight,

rejoicing before him always,

31 jrejoicing in his kinhabited world

and delighting in the children of man.

Prov. 8:32    “And now, lO sons, listen to me:

mblessed are those who keep my ways.
